The HSE withdrew approval/accreditation to First Aid training providers on the 1st October 2013. In addition, the first-aid Approved Code of Practice was withdrawn.
This means there are no official or approved HSE training providers for First Aid.
The emphasis has now been placed on employers to ensure that they have 'adequate' first aid trained personnel.
ASMAA-SDF in partnership with Pro-Trainings is launching a new online First Aid Course for Martial Artists, Instructors and practitioners.
This course will be suitable for all and follows the HSE guidelines for the provision of First Aid Training.
This course will give you all the necessary basic life saving and first aid skills to deal with a whole range of Martial Arts injuries and also for general use.
(if you require a more advanced course, we recommend the First Aid at Work
(FAW) which is done over 3 days and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) which is 1 day)
